UK-Based IT Services Provider Creates Data Center
United Kingdom-based Information Technology service provider Logicalis announced late last week that it has established a managed hosting service, deployment and cloud consulting group. This is in a bid to expand its operations and reach out to more clients.
The newly established group will offer a wide range of public, private and software as service cloud products.
The group will get support and credibility from the company’s proven expertise in the implementation and design of highly virtualized storage, computing and networking infrastructures. This also includes investments in enterprise managed services and in-house information center facilities.
Logicalis Managing Director Tom Kelly said that the group’s formation makes it possible for customers to avail of their expertise when it comes to advanced data center virtualization and managed services. Additionally, an independent strategy that creates and integrates private and public cloud services and solutions can be implemented in their respective businesses.
Kelly stressed that for the past three years, the company has made significant investments in wholly owned private data center facilities and managed services. They partnered up with leading IT companies such as HP, Cisco, IBM, Microsoft, NetApp, VMware, CA and EMC to make this possible.
Logicalis recently started building a new $12.6 million-worth data center beside its existing headquarters in United Kingdom, a clear indication that business is at a positive trend and that they are looking forward to serving more clients in the years to come.
